Agree they don't look so hot.

You can tell they have talent, but they aren't clicking. Not on O or D.
 
If Brissett doesn't pan out then their QB situation is in trouble going forward. Driskel sucks.

LOL funny. Because last year everybody on Grassy was saying how Brissett was being lied to and he shouldn't go to UF because he would ride the pine behind Driskel and that UF would never play a black QB. At the time, I said I didn't understand why people were acting like Driskel had already done something in college and until proven otherwise he was just another high school recruit. I said Brissett would have a chance to start as a true sophomore which was a great opportunity. All the star chasers were on Driskel's nuts...now Driskel is about to ride bench. And I agree, Driskel stinks.
 
BTW...don't agree we looked awful. Hard to tell much from a spring game either way but I liked the format. It was 1st team offense vs. 1st team defense. And our defense was top 10 last year and we made some plays offensively. I don't know what our record will be, I'm predicting 8-4, but I saw positive on both sides of the ball.
 
i like some of the players on the gates d.

Their true fresh linebacker looked good....i seen the kid from Hallandale not looking timid....their dline is pretty good...even a walk on kid (#90) was solid.

Dont know about the running game?...and their wr's are still not that good....can they get good qb play?....

Brisett outplaying Driskel.

I never said that. I have always said Driskel is garbage even when he was suppose to be the #1 HS QB in the nation. Amazingly overrated coming out of HS

No problem DiegoCane. I'm not saying you said that...I'm laughing at all the Grassy posters who crowned Driskel and was saying Brissett would never play.

I don't mind guys like killa1storm.. much better than a sh*t talking gate!.. I respect the way he approaches our forum.
 
#4 on defense looks like 1st round talent... can't remember his name but he was always around the football...

As long as the QB situation doesnt change, and they dont develop some sort of run game, they'll be having a lot of 6-6 seasons. Georgia and South Carolina have passed them, and Tennessee is stocking up some nice talent. UF will soon stand for "unheard from".....
