I agree. We got ****y after 2017, this year brought us back down to reality. Having said that, Diaz at least gives me a modicum of hope for the gator game. With Richt, we were 100% going to lose that game. This time, we have a chance.
 
I want to win this Florida game badly. For years, those ******** ran and hid from us while claiming to be the best thing since sliced bread. Furthermore, you know those pussies won’t schedule us for another 10 years so this is years of bragging rights.

Miami is due to win games they are expected to lose. Hopefully, we can be their LSU game.

If they're half as ****y as their fans are it'll be great for us. All I've heard the last few weeks was how UFag was going to beat Miami by 50. although, this week they've quieted down a bit. They know Their punching bag Richt isn't here anymore.
 
When is the last time we beat a big 10 team or an sec team? Stay away from the kool aid. We are developing a good coaching staff. But we currently do not have the players on offense to beat the LSU, Wisconsin and Florida type teams. Give it a year or two and then we may have an elite team. Don’t expect 2019 season to reveal a major turn around or you are setting yourselves up for disappointment.

Franks and Rosier are eerily similarly awful. As my Gator friend pointed out he had over 30 TDs and so did Rosier. What’s also very similar is the turnover margin between us in 2017 and the Gators 2018. There offense ran the ball very well and now have to replace 4 olinemen. I see a scenario where if we bring in a QB we could be favored where i hope that’s not the case.

LOL- this type of thinking is not allowed here on CIS with the hiring of Diaz. This place has quickly circled back around to where the board was when Richt was hired and nobody could point out the obvious negatives and potential pitfalls.

It's ok to believe but we begin to drink too much Kool-Aid when he hasn't even field all his coaches!

Exactly, but don't expect this type of sentiment to go over well here. CIS is all overly hyped again because the new HC spoke well in his press conference.

The problem is that all the kool-aide drinkers run around here with their pitch forks out ready to stamp out anything that doesn't support their crazy ideas about where this team is currently. These guys are the quintessential fan who always believe the backup QB is going to be better than the starter, no matter the facts.
 
They have an elite secondary and special teams unit. We better have our QB situation figured out or this will be a very tough game.

It may be a close game but the gators will destroy us. Call me what you want and down vote till your thumbs are numb. Richt damaged this offensive team beyond what any new staff can repair in an off season. Hope I'm proven wrong 10 fold but color me realistic

and a winner of 10 games, he's only going to get better under Mullins. Jones is a better fit for the system, and yes they are losing players to the draft and Miami is losing their best two defensive lineman and dbs
