Thoughts?

Definitely think its a trap bet for those who haven't followed the Canes the past couple years and still think we are in shambles.

It will probably move to -3, but vegas is probably playing to the the general public's expectation that the Gators would decent favorites.
 
It will come down by gametime. They also had us losing to BC in the opener last year
 
I will be in Vegas in two weeks and if it's still above 4 I'm dropping 10 dimes without hesitation.
 
The Gators were ranked high early last year and made a BCS bowl last year despite the outcome. UM...well our D has not been the Miami D of old...trying to be kind. Until UM gets the D fixed, I find it hard to have a lot of confidence against ranked teams let alone the darn Virginia's of the world.

It seems about right to me. Plus or minus a point. I, frankly, hope it goes higher before I get to Vegas. Miami is not going to get tons of respect until they prove they deserve it.
 
I'd play the Gata's @ + 4.5

Every team with a pulse smashe the 'Canes *** last year. It will be the same thing this year.

While at Temple, Al Golden’s Owls went 8-2-1 ATS as a home dog. I think for those that gamble, a home dog is a wash. 53% of home dog's cover on average and 52.37% is needed to beat the vig. "If" I was to bet this game, I would take Miami plus the points. I'd grab it at 4.5 now, in fear that I would lose the half. The game to grab this year is not this one. I'd be waiting for the FSU game, knowing that the road team if posted as a dog, has dominated the last quarter century. Miami will be a dog going into Tallahassee and win both SU and ATS. This is our season. I'm liking Miami against VT but, UNC as a home dog at night is something to keep an eye on. I'll pray we walk in as a 7 plus point fav and just win SU. Also, I'd feel very good dropping the wood on FAU. We should cover that game with ease imho. Lastly, who the fvck really knows... no one.
