Why would Coley come here? He's loved in Athens and will probably be calling there soon as there is alot of heat on Chaney. I find it funny he's thought of highly everywhere but here.

Probably because we've been the only ones subjected to him as a playcaller.

LOL - because there are only three or four qualified OCs in the entire country.

Qualified OCs are much harder to find than super skilled highly educated people like neurosurgeons or quantum physicists, of which there are thousands in the US. But yet there only a small handful of geniuses that can recruit and run an offense.

Not saying he’s coming but him and his family love Miami. Also Chaney might be leaving to UT soon (with Pittman going to Bama).

Manny's problem is he said that we were going to make a big hire at OC and someone that has been a head coach. Manny won't attract the same talent that Richt would have, it is always an uphill climb for new coaches.

Did richt really attract any talent outside of coaches he’s worked with other than Diaz/kool? The rest were limited experience hires

He hired Pruit at UGA and got Bobo promoted. There are plenty of bad things about Richt but guys wanted to work for him.

I meant at Miami but yeah, we will see how he close on offensive hires. Miami can’t be cheap, they have to spend money that they have readily available to get the best out there that we can get. We have tried the cheap route since the start of the 2000s and it hasn’t worked at all. Need better coaches

Tired of these pointless clickbait thread titles. This is a free site and no one benefits from forced clicks to read post content that could easily be in a title.

Mods need to step up and start regulating this crap. I've seen other sites that do it and it makes for a much better user experience. This thread should read:

"Ferman: Coley not an OC candidate"

I'll give OP a pass but from now on I'm downvoting thread posts like this.

Did he really hire Pruitt? Or was Pruitt forced on him? Which probably explains why they didn't get along.
