Garcia update

Things changed after Msu. The espn segment definitely put a light on them and put the focus on the administration, not just the coach. It’s obvious with all the statements coming out of the hect that it’s far from “ business as usual “ around those parts. I stick by what I said pre Msu “ if manny loses to Msu he’s on the hot seat. If it goes too much off the rails they’ll flick the switch early.
There’s a better than decent argument that any in-season firing should happen now before our bye week. Not saying it will happen, just that it should happen.

I just hope he sticks around.. I think he is the better fit for our offense. But his chance to really show that he should start was last night but he was unfortunately injured and couldn't play. TVD had a couple good throws but for the most part it was less than 5 yard passes. Garcia is more aggressive and with our speed I think he would be the better option

Don’t get your hopes up. I can’t imagine them doing this now when they had the shot after MSU. Looks like Mack will be the one that get the honor of eliminating his position for a second time despite not being his employer this time around. I hope that Jess is ready for the interim tag.

Why do we always worry about red shirting??? If he's the goods he'll be gone in 3 years anyway.
assuming we fire manny, would you rather have garcia starting for:
- a rebuild year and two progressively better years?
- an already lost half season, a rebuild year, and a single progressively better year?
that's a pretty easy choice there, genius.

As soon as we are officially eliminated from the Coastal the entire thing needs to be set on fire and start over.

President. AD, Asst ADs, coaches of all three major sports. Everyone.

It doesn't matter what we want if he is that good he will bounce to the NFL after 3 years anyway...doesn't matter if it's a RS year plus 2 years or 3 years playing. Comprehende genius?

Also, do not discount the fact that many of these injuries are not merely "bad luck."

Clark being awful got King killed in the bowl game.
The entire OL being awful got King killed again this year.
The OL being awful got Garcia killed.
The OL being awful got Chaney killed.

The OL is awful due to poor recruiting for years.

Something weird is going on with “injuries”

Pope doesn’t dress one week then is playing DB the next day in practice.

After MSU the following players have missed at least one game
Carter
Garcia
Gaynor
Pope
Miller
JHH
Blades
Hall

And where has Redding gone? I saw him on punt coverage but zero snaps at WR.

Those tackling dummies are doing wonders to our team.

Manny trying to set up " well we had soooo many injuries it was hard to compete" excuse...
