The home opener that year was Rutgers and we only got 39,804 4pm kickoff but there was an hour rain delay.

I was there for that too! It was a monsoon. I think the delay was more like 2 hours. I was there with my dad and he just wanted to leave. I said no way.

Do you remember the water coming up to your knees near the entrance to the stadium. I was so soaked and the game hadn't even started yet.

Yea I remember sloshing through water to get in and there was standing water in the stands. Totally soaked but I didn't care.
