Dome used to get hot as ****…cramping was a problem. Miserable for the fans, especially early in the season.

Excuse this, but the human body creates 400 btu’s/hour with moderate activity.
That’s 20 million BTU’s cranking, not including any sun that’s hitting that roof.

I don't think it's going to get too hot. Even if they don't have air-conditioning

That's why they chose not to do it in the first place.
They figured the fans can suffer through a few early season games till the weather kicks in.
The same with the dorms in most schools in upstate NY.
