For people coming from miami where it was 85 degrees, yes..At what point do you people wear jackets? Is 55 really cold to you?

I'm from Miami and am building a camp fire whenever it dips below 80.At what point do you people wear jackets? Is 55 really cold to you?

them boys was freezing ..... in orlando, smhBreak out the hand warmers, long sleeves, face masks, and sideline heaters aka Sun Bowl 2010 and Champ Sports Bowl 2009
Anything under 60 is cold. Before moving to Florida I would say 55 isn’t that bad. Born in the south just not Florida. Never really liked the cold. Now that I’ve been in Florida. Anything under 60 feels cold.
When you are used to 90-100 daily then a 40 degree stop feels cold.
Ppl in the north used to 80’s tops probably don’t get cold till 30-‘-40’s it’s all relative

Human beings are supposed to feel cold in cold weather, because we’re not reptiles.
Not really...as long you have a late fall sun and minimal wind it is actually quite pleasant. If I'm UM football, I would not allow players to wear any winter stuff on a day game in the 50s and 60s. Players need to grow their collective sacks.

Agreed.
Players need to grow a pair, change their physiological biology & force their central nervous system to not decrease muscle expansion, blood flow & control their lactic acid production. Never mind that these are natural functions of the human body whenever someone gets cold, they’re Football players, they need to toughen up & just deal with hypothermia without even so much as a shiver.
Warmth is for *****’s.
I’m just saying. If you've done a proper warm-up as athletes at all Div1 schools do prior to a game then 50 degree weather isn't a factor, or at least it should not be. But I think I know where you're coming from my experience, playing Optimist football when we went "up north" to play a team in Lakeland during Thanksgiving weekend. Parents and loved ones of our team sitting in stands wearing coats and blankets during low 50 degree weather. I thought we were playing the Packers in December....lol.
