Rain does not benefit us at all. Maybe it benefits our d line. But rain will do a few things. It hurts the already bad hands of our receivers. It hurts the hands of pope as a returner. It makes ETN harder to tackle cause he is slippers when he’s dry. He will know where he’s going and plant his foot and our reactions will be hampered. Their QB is bigger so he presumably has bigger hands. I know it’s dumb but it’s factual. Also last monsoon game we played was Duke I believe and we lost. Although Louisville last year was raining and we won

We have 3 stud RBs and a slippery QB. We good.

It’s going to rain, I hope the team brought lots of Stick ‘em. By the way, is that stuff still legal
 
Running game is going to be big in this one. Sloppy game caused by weather isn’t the worst thing to hope for but need to get consistent yardage on our runs.

Their D is solid between the tackles. IF it’s gonna be slop we better get more creative
 
We should Come out in three TE sets which could help get more physical in the running game. Then go tempo and have the TEs spread out, isolated on some LBs/ DBs that cannot cover them.
That should be fun to watch in the rain. Jordan and Mallary should have some big gains.

like a few have said, this worries the absolute sh*t out of me with Pope back their fielding punts. If it's raining signifcantly the ball won't bounce so I say don't even return punts depending upon the situation and how bad the weather is
