Gameday @ Nebraska

Gabrielle Union grew up in Nebraska and is apparently a life long fan. DWade wasn’t the official guest pick.

Man, that CornSUCKER AD and sports info director, or ever handles the CFB Game Day pickers are absolutely lame! DWade? Guy isn't even from Nebraska or attended the University in small-town Capital town Lincoln. And Gabrielle Union? Heck, she GRADUATED from UCLA! That's UCLA and not the University of Nebraska. dUh Oh, she hasn't lived in Nebraska for EONS. hUh Well, at least she was born in Omaha. So at least that's a Red and White feather in her cap. Nevertheless, I guess former CornSUCKER football players were out hunting or too busy doing the booty call thing, to bother with Game Day.

The bottom line is CFB Game Day pickers generally has some type of connection with the host school. And both Gabrielle and Wade don't.

Y'all still waste your time watching ESPN? I mean....sure I watch the games but the other silliness is just that - silliness. There's no serious football discussion there.

I didn't tune in this AM, and only discovered the guess pickers on the ESPN college football page. Then did some quick research about Gabrielle Union. But do carry on.

Then what was he doing there? As for Gabriell, she graduated from UCLA and hasn't lived in the Hayseed hinterlands for DECADES. At least Nebraska should have had a guess picker from the Nebraska vollyeball team. At least their ranked No. 1.

My post wasn't specifically directed at you. I just have no use for Gameday or any of the other ESPN content that claims to be about football but is just a ****show.

That crowd was insane, especially given the curb stomping Nebraska will take later.

However, Frost isn’t effing around. He’s getting a $155m football facility. Only 5x the cost of ours.

Nebraska unveiled plans for a $155 million football facility.
The sprawling facility will cover 350,000 square feet and include a new locker room, coaches offices, a medical center, a strength and conditioning center and, per 247Sports' Michael Bruntz, "new vertical transportation for fans entering and exiting the North Stadium." The plan, here, is a groundbreaking next spring, with the sprawling project tentatively set for completion in the summer of 2022 barring unforeseen circumstance.
