ThisWhat's funny about that is state schools use TAX PAYER MONEY!!! If anything, there should be outrage about that hire, not ours.

Exactly. If public institutions catch crap, so be it. Maybe if they weren't on the public *** they wouldn't have to worry about it. Not everyone in a state is a football fan, and I completely understand them not wanting to pay for a football coach. A private institution only has to face the critics within. At that point you can sit them down and show them how they benefit from the school bringing in extra money because they invested it in the football program. Betty Sue in backwoods Arkansas wants her **** road fixed first.ThisA private school can do whatever they want.
Lock thread. They're in the business of creating drama. As soon as that's accepted, you see it's actually not that different than fake wrestling.
Or MSNBC, CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC or Fox News for that matter. They're in the business of creating drama. As soon as that's accepted, you see it's actually not that different than fake wrestling.

Facts!Or MSNBC, CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC or Fox News for that matter.
EVERYTHING “mainstream” that we consume is a well orchestrated soap opera designed specifically to elicit an emotional response.
Wrestling is not fake bruh.
The head clown saved this program.I can't believe some of you actually tune in to that clown show.
Bingo.Nobody investigating the $8M Stephen A pulls down annually. Or the absurd money the rest of his ilk make for basically being glib and "controversial."
Mel Tucker is over rated af. #9 was a lottery ticket and tucker hit pay dirt. They won't see success like that again.Mel Tucker signs for 9.5 million a year at Michigan St no less. Hahahaha. I did not hear them wax poetically where the money came from.
This is really great insight, how is it that you don’t have more likes?CFB is reacting to market potential. The $$$ potential with 4 or 5 super conferences coming up in the next 3 years is enormous. Each of these schools are positioning themselves for upcoming frenzy.
Some of you (including some of the old hacks on TV) are still focused on the old network model of broadcasting. It is going to be global streaming product of individual schools and their aligned schools as products. It is going to be great as a fan, not to be stuck watching regional broadcasts. We could potentially buy a U package that allows you to watch all U games alone on any device in any part of the world. Same goes for rivalry packages...
Schools are starting realize that performance on the field is key in being picked in the best conference alignments. Regional rivalries are going to matter less and less as old guard dies off in terms of spending potential.
Money is going to be made on the best performing, best marketed teams and/or groups of teams.
This is where a future focused athletic department is critical. Thank goodness that Frenk realizes this and elevated our AD to VP. It is that critical as jockeying and wheeling/dealing starts. None of the current conference alliances are safe.
