Yeah I have no clue why they phone it in so badly when Dolphins don’t play until then.

Why is this so hard?? (just replace the CFP logo with a U or helmet)

This stuff is cool if we have multiple home games against ranked teams. Not cool against Bethune Cookman
 
Sebastians new entrance was cool enough.

The new intro video was very good. (Almost exact copy of what i posted here a year or 2 ago).

By the end of the first quarter, the crowd was surprisingly full.

The spotlight was cool.

The rotating disco lights were awful.

Band sounded good.

The back and forth Go Canes chant was a massive dud. Noone cared at all.

DJ played music over the band for the first 60 seconds of the halftime performance. Great.

The phone flashlight qr code thing was stupid af. There was noone left to do it and they had the lights on for it.

The sweet caroline bit was the most interactive portion of the crowd throughout the whole game.
 
I’ve been begging them to drop the DJ for years. It’s so cringeworthy and screams “how do you do fellow kids”. Like what an old person would think the younger crowd wants at a game more than they actually do.

Not to mention they’ve actually screwed up gameplay before by talking/playing music while whistles have been blown to start the plays. With all the stuff Mario has his hands in, I’m shocked that DJ is still around
 
In the East parking lot before walking up the steps to cross the racetrack, there was a random DJ set up playing music that I thought was pretty cool. I couldn’t tell if he was a random DJ that set up there or if he was a gameday enhancement.

Freebird remix for Sebastian’s entrance was great.

Disco lights blinding me were stupid.

The Go on one side Canes on the other side was a disaster, couldn’t understand the DJ. Why copy what the Hokies do pregame? I’d be shocked if that makes any headway.

The fourth quarter light show will look good when the crowd is still in their seats.

Love the new band vibe. They have a ton of energy and you can tell they put a lot of effort into improvements. Good for them. They filled in the section they sit in too.

Very nice turnout by the students!

Clucks chicken in the club level is disgusting. Paid 16 dollars for a miniature sandwich that had more pickles than meat. I can officially say I had the worst sandwich of my life last night.

I don’t know if I missed it or not, but did we use the fire extinguisher after the first quarter? I always thought that was really dope. It’d be ******* sick if they did it in every section of the stadium too. Just keep adding to the atmosphere.

17k is 7k less than when Foote started to downsize? Or am I misunderstanding you?

When I was there in the late 90s, under Foote, we had 8k. And there were housing and parking issues even then.
