So many inaccuracies here, and so many old man uphill, both ways, kind of things.
Not everything they do is gonna be designed for the people on this website if you wanna complain about the game day experience, there are other people they need to give a little bit of something for, and if you want more butts in seats, every little thing can help, especially with families.
I’m sure they’re going to do some things that suck and sign me up to never hear Sweet Caroline again at a Miami game. It’s OK to share some things with other sports for familiarity, but it’s bad to copy everyone.
Those complaining about Thunderstruck act like we’ve been playing it for five years as opposed to decades in the obvious weather-related connection.
Rock you like a hurricane and in the air tonight, obviously our songs that not everybody else plays and always need to stay part of the mix even when sometimes they were left out for weird reasons
We don’t have 8000 students undergrad anymore -13,200.
The band of the hour is actually fairly good in terms of their ability, but has been ****** in terms of their selections and band direction and, most importantly, the size, so nobody can hear them without microphones. That’s also a function of not awarding more scholarships and recruiting heavily, which, at least, it seems the new team in charge of the band is trying to rectify. Hopefully, you will see some early results, but they’re gonna need to grow by another 50% for it to really matter in what matters which is visually and be able to hear them without a megaphone. Recruit more, give more scholarships; problem solved. Feel free to donate to the School of Music.
We sit here all the time talking about how Miami doesn’t try to do anything and has done a ****** job around the game experience so I’m gonna give them a chance to at least get some of this **** right. Even if I won’t necessarily like every single thing they do it’s also important to remember that there are families and kids around them. You might wanna think about them becoming a long-term fan and liking coming to games versus sitting on a couch.
Whether you like it or not, yes, make the songs and music feel more Miami, but not everyone in South Florida or coming in is into Soulja Boy from way back when. The music has to be a mix of things that appeal to everyone without being a copycat of ******* jump around.
