Game Day Enhancements

The "Fan chant" has me very nervous. Hoping they didnt come from that TAMU playoff game in college station thinking, "OMG, the whole crowd doing chants would be a cool addition to our gameday experience!" . That will not go over well.

Just please stop with the turning off the lights crap when we score, **** gives me a seizure.

Thunderstruck, huh? Were Enter Sandman and Mr Brightside already taken? *aide whispers in my ear*

Oh.

Well, carry on then.

I just don't get it. Pick a more Miami song. I like AC/DC as much as the next drunken soccer hooligan or YT supremacist biker, but Thunderstruck is just too freaking generic.

Clearly, "Rock You Like A Hurricane" makes perfect sense.

But we've played AC/DC songs (****'s Bells, Back In Black, Thunderstruck) and Metallica (Enter Sandman) and Guns N Roses (Welcome To The Jungle) for quite some time. Even before other schools started to use them.

****, I'd like to see us bring back "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye" in the 4th quarter. Or better yet, the 3rd quarter. THAT was vintage Miami taunting...

Private school of what 8k undergrads. The biggest the band ever was is early 90’s at around 230. Never gonna be any bigger than that. Let’s just support them as much as we can. Kids work hard and do some cool things. Glad to hear it is growing though. Keep it up.
Undergraduate is over 13K. It was 11K when my son was a freshman in 2019. I think the plan is to get to 17K.

The Tampa Bay Lightning play Thunderstruck to start the games............................

Oh wait. There is a connection between lightning and thunder..............carry on.

Does anybody else remember when we played VT at home and somebody thought it would be a good idea to play Enter Sandman?

my colleagues at FIU that went to the USF game this past weekend said USF and Raymond James stadium did pretty much everything on that list and were really impressed with all the FX and entertainment... said the crowd got really into it.
