All it took for me was to learn to ignore it and realize it’s not personal. They’re trying to make me better.

Some of these players have no relationship to Mario and I don’t think they have yet adjusted from a relaxed, non consequence environment to the one Mario has brought it. It doesn’t surprise me that some of these players are being affected by it. Especially with the past culture.

The question is how long does it take to embed the personality Mario is bringing to the program into the players ?

You raise some great points.

And an honest answer to your final question is that I think this involves "players leaving" who do not adopt the personality. There are several players who have bought in, are working hard, and are producing much better results than they did under Manny. And there are other players who are producing the same (poor) results that they did under Manny.

Facts. Mario has to be better on GameDay no doubt but people keep overrating this roster and making excuses for the players not performing/executing simple assignments.

Model girlfriend? I think that was Tathan. TVD's girl is a UM athlete.

False. Even if you are not a great game-day coach, you can be a great CEO or great recruiter or great talent evaluator and still succeed. See Butch. See the headman at UGA that we fans here laughed at often as a coach. Not anymore. Who is laughing now?

This is why I don’t like when coaching brings up the roster issues or depth issues or talent issues. It’s not that it’s not true (we know we need to recruit), but you don’t have to say that publicly. It doesn’t help the current situation at all and somewhat alienates players. Whether you recruited them or not, these are your guys now. You ride with them **** or high water

And I am not completely disagreeing with you. While I did not watch the report, it is my understanding that players say that they FEEL this way, not that there have been specific statements made as such (though I absolutely know that one position group was given a pretty brutal assessment a couple of months ago by their position coach).

I do know that Mario tends to be on the supportive side of things, even though his workouts and routines are physically demanding. Individual position coaches, though, can sometimes speak their minds in the heat of battle, whether that is helpful or not.

Meanwhile, we should introduce Thad's father to Keyshawn's mother, and they can produce a whole bunch of lazy babies.
