Maybe it's just me, but ever since UT crapped the bed against App State, I've been really looking forward to this game. It went from "Why are we playing them?" to "I can't wait to smash them!" All the talking heads picking THEM has me fired up and wishing I could take the field tomorrow. Also, the chance to shut up at least part of the SEC homers... I just want this game to be here already. I know it's not FSU, but it's a chance to shut up a **** of a lot of people, and that alone is worth having this game on the schedule.

At the very least a good curb-stompin' by the Canes today should prevent the national clowns and Vegas from ever disrespecting this team and Rick in future games like this. We need to get past the point where these are even perceived as remotely a test for this program.

Yep. There are a lot of positives that we can come away with today if our coaches do their jobs, and the players execute. There is not one battle I see them winning consistently.
