I’m consistently disappointed in our AB approach. I am not sure what is being taught but it’s been a problem for like 10 years. It seems like we want to be a team that gets deep into counts and hits fastballs…but we suck at capitalizing on mistakes, take hitter’s pitches, and try to pull everything we see. We choose to be aggressive on poor pitches. It’s even worse wRISP. It reminds me of watching the Dodgers before they hired Van Scoyac
