I don’t know the details and circumstances of their team as far as personnel and injuries and all that but Ole Miss 2022 was very similar. And they did both, lost game 1 of the SEC tournament and then won it all. Most were shocked they even made the tournament
Sub .500 conference team that was all up and down. Got hot late and flashed at times throughout the season. Didn’t do anything consistent until they came to our regional.

Pretty sure that Ole Miss team was highly ranked to start the year, if not #1?
Regardless, the previous poster saying this team is good enough to win the CWS or bad enough to lose the acc opener is smoking some seriously good ****. Primarily because of the former. There’s not a circumstance that exists that would get this team to the top of the heap and win a natty. lol! I needed a good laugh though…
