Same story, different game with this bullpen. That’s what happens when you refuse to challenge hitters and get in bad counts. He grooved a fastball right down the middle after throwing him nothing but off-speed pitches on a 3-2 count.

JD is the equivalent of promoting your DC to head coach and having a defense that allows 17 through 3 quarters and gives up 35 in the 4th.

Thanks. To be fair, and I never give JD any credit, it’s not like there’s a soul in that bullpen you have a crumb of trust in. I didn’t know anything about the kid but he’d probably put the Miami Maniac in at this point. What’s the difference?

What they did with Robert last night was absolutely perfect for a Tommy John return, but for whatever reason they haven’t done it with Menendez. JD’s gone on his show with DMoney several times and said all the right words about understanding that, and come the weekend he and Laz act like kids with a new toy they can’t wait to play with.

Yeah. I’ve been pretty reluctant to criticize JD for waiting too long for pulling out starters this year because *gestures at bullpen*.
