I was texting with D, and felt like you could see early on that Ciscar didn't have his best stuff today. Lots of hard contact. I'd have been happy getting through four and told him first baserunner he's out.

Arteaga knows his team better than I do, so really just sharing my thoughts that he let him go too long in that 5-2 spot. Hopefully it wasn't to "get him a win" etc.

After a DH, he probably just had more confidence in Ciscar than his middle relief.
