No but it pushes the threshold higher. Very little chance you get in with 14 wins, 15 gets very dicey, etc. Thankfully only one midweek game left.

Miserable loss, then got to hear it around to boot. Was it me, or did they seem a little flat? And yeah, Cuvet goes 0fer we hurting anyways but.

Thought we capitalize on sweep going into Fenway smh.
 
I know this is counter-intuitive, and I've been on this board for years saying to support the football program at all costs, so I'm being very much a hypocrite here, but you guys have to realize, last night was a VERY good thing for the program. This clown has a 0.0% chance of success here. None. He HAS to go. We literally need to tank for a new coach. I'm pretty sure if they fail to even make the post-season again this year, the pressure will be too much for that corpse Rad and he'll actually get off his lazy *** and fire JD. I could be naive, but I believe that to be true.

So, again, I know this makes no sense to a lot of us, and I can't believe I'm personally saying this, but cheer for losses. It's the literal only way this gets better. This guy is a completely unqualified loser. He doesn't have a shred of a chance to win here. The only way we win is to shoot him into the sun and get a real coach. So, who do we play this weekend? Boston College? I hope they beat the **** out of us.

Get this guy outta my life. I don't personally despise him, he just took a job anyone in his position would have, and he's trying. He's just useless. The real ******* who should be castrated is Rad and the rest of the buddycrew, but that's another thread.

For now, hit the Al Davis in reverse.

It’s already wraps brother. We have about a 60-70% chance to make the tournament at the moment. The damage was done the last three weeks by going 10-2. He’s getting another year my friend

If we get swept by Boston college, what’s that number? There’s some ball left to be played. He needs to be fired, yesterday. But at the absolute latest, the minute we take the last called strike 3 to end the season.

I'd say going to Jake Dorn in that spot last night was the last straw. That Jake Dorn is even here is a problem in the first place.

So you’re telling me that if we unravel to end the season he’s still coming back because of 3 weeks in April against mediocre competition?

going to be windy up in Boston. They are a hard nosed northern team. Field it well. Grind AB's, steal bases, a few guys stand on the plate and dare you to throw inside.

Pitching so not great but they do have a fair amount of K's. Could be a small ball weekend...JD is probably at half mast thinking of a 3 game set filled with bunts, hit and runs, shifts when not needed and early pitching changes.

I'd be surprised if he gets removed from the position at any point over the next 5-10 years. The school appears willing to allow for football and basketball to flirt with relevance but they simply don't care one way or the other about baseball. DiMare had to pony up for the outfield wall and scoreboard. John Ruiz paid for the weight room. Some couple paid for the IPF. They won't fire the guy who has his number retired and who's played/coached here since the 90s, just like they would have never fired DiMare. The program's kaput.

Prediction vs BC- 2 Wins 1 Loss

Prediction vs NC State- 1 Win 2 Losses

Prediction vs FIU- 1 Win

Prediction vs Virginia- 2 Wins 1 Loss

Prediction vs Notre Dame- 2 Wins 1 Loss

8-5 to end the season leaving us with 32-23 Overall Record
