Maybe we come back, but you have to mix some sweeps in there occasionally. This is how you make sure you stay in the 2/3 range with no hope of moving up.

We’re definitely going to get to fully stress test the bullpen today after largely being shielded by the starters since Clemson

Pitching has been good of late but it failed miserably today. Defense has been bad all season so I expect the circus in the field. Hitting hasn’t been terrible but considering the Stanford team era it’s been disappointing.

This is revisionist history but I hated the decision to pull Ciscar

Another JD management blunder. The guy makes up to 5 management mistakes a game. It’s simply not a winning formula with how bad we are on the bases and especially defensively

I will be shocked if we win this. I am going to have to read about it if we do. I am done with this one.
This team has been poorly coached for the 2nd straight season by JD. I wonder how his job performance evals go?

This team is what you see at this point. Decent SP, a still crappy bullpen and an inconsistent offense.

And last, but not least, a defense so bad that the lousy bullpen gets taxed even further. Keep winning ACC series, get a favorable Regional draw, then somehow play 3 - 4 clean games in a row to advance.

No Robert this weekend (this would have been an ideal spot). Someone mentioned to me last weekend that he was being a little more cautious with his return, but I didn’t really pursue it.
