3 runs or less in 4 of the last 6 games and tonight sitting at 4 runs against a Stanford bullpen. Seems like we struggle if we don’t hit HR’s.

Question there on that Galvin out. Is the 1st baseman allowed the stand on the green bag and catch the ball? Seem like the fielder should only be allowed to be on the white bag.

I believe he is on a dropped third strike when the catcher is in foul territory.

Thought they have to still step on white main base. He looked like he was on green but on last replay he might of just been on back side slightly on white

Side note ….Max Galvin has looked beyond bad tonight 0-4 with 3 K’s and the swings aren’t close.
That’s probably the biggest issue with giving Torres starts over Peralta. You can have a glove in the lineup that’s not hitting and you can give a proven veteran time to find their grove after an injury (you absolutely should), but you shouldn’t do both.

Green is allowed after dropped 3rd strike.

There are a couple other exceptions too.

Holy cow that Fabio swap just payed off. This game reeks of sleepwalking through then finding a way to lose in extras.
