Solid come back win. A little momentum to carry us. We’re a different team at home v. neutral site/road. GT will be a nice gage. Beating Dook was cool, but Dook is a bit of an up & down team while Pitt is deplorable.

GT will tell me if we’re fools gold or if the correctives can spring us. It’s so hard to get a gage of this team b/c literally our 2nd half of the schedule outside of GT is pretty meh/cupcake similar to how we started the season.

Nevertheless like I’ve stated b4, if there’s one thing I’ll give both Gino & JD credit for even in the most dire situations, the team is feisty; more feisty than good if I’m going to be brutally honest.

Nice win. Don’t know how we won that game but much needed season saving type of win. Really can’t have any more hiccups at this point if post season is goal.

Hence y they’ve been sub .500 the last 15 games. The fundamentals they showed early on has waned. They’ve been a very nonchalant team.
My favorite was the batter that stepped into the box near the limit, then decided to step out for three seconds, and got rung up on a full count pitch clock violation. Just brain dead baseball.

That single we hit to go ahead that he forced into a double was some of the worst base running I’ve-seen…. but equally as bad (flat out lazy) cut off/relay which allowed the poor base running to be rewarded

Pretty terrible baseball game by all accounts

I’ll never hope for a loss, not fair to the guys.

But this team, relative to what we should be, is going nowhere and the program will move in the same direction with JD at the helm.

Sad state of affairs when we applaud grit and it’s the most endearing quality a team has.

Don't really like this team that much but watching is more agreeable with Dorian collecting big hits late, and Walters closing things out. Lumpkin seemed to find a Valenzuela type of rythm. Thought it was a slightly quick hook considering the groove he was in.
