And apparently, Peralta wasn't going to hit for Torres. Some of these substitutions defy logic, e.g. why wouldn't Watkins pinch run for the potential tying run? On to Cali and must take 2 at least.

Torres was technically on deck, but Dubovik had gone from dancing in the dugout to holding a bat in record time.
 
Torres is tough to watch. Alvarez is a big step down from Sosa behind the plate. Cuvet is in a funk hitting and his body language stinks. I refuse to believe the we can’t find a solid all around SS in SouthFL. Pitching was decent today.

We gotta rest Sosa.
Alvarez needs time behind the plate. He will be fine next year as a starter.
