Game 35: 4/11/25 Duke 13-3 L (18-17)

Duke isnt going to do anything amazing. Just pitch well enough to stay in most games. Hit well enough to win close games.

I do take back anything amazing. They field it at a really high level. So you do that and do the other two phases well(not even great) you will find yourself winning more and more games as the season goes on. They have a few bullpen guys who seem to be rounding into shape.

So a team with limited talent, plays well enough to win games. That means they don’t make mistakes and play fundamental ball, meaning they are well coached. Gee if only we can hire a coach like that.

Welp…I’ll check back in a bit later but this is going about how I expected.

Great game plan vs Hugus too. Well coached team.

If their starter can get them back in the dugout quick I’ll prepare myself for a shellacking. Well coached teams should start playing their best ball the next 2-3 weeks.
