Game 31 & 32: 4/4/25 Pitt 9-4 W, 7-2 L (16-16)

As bad as Pitt might be, we're sure sitting on this lead. We might need the other Smith before all is said and done.

Feels like we’re probably trailing 1-0 right now if Tanner Ks instead of hitting a GS.

I’d just go with Will for two innings to close. Focus on grabbing this one while hopefully burning only one reliever. Figure out the back end of game two if you get there.

It would be nice to get something out of our #3 hitter. We have had chances to add to our lead and have failed.

Probably gonna need someone else for the 9th with Smith needing 12 pitches to get out of the 7th. Walters?

This half inning feels like an incompetence off that’s tilting to our benefit
 
With the next game not looking to start until 4:45-5:00pm, it’s worth noting that rain becomes likely between seven and eight.
