Game 3: Lehigh 2/15/26

I stopped watching in the 5th. It was 14 or 15-3 at that point. I knew it would be called in the 7th, but I didn't expect 27 runs. I am excited for this season.
 
Impressive, even considering the opponent. Situational hitting was as good as all the XBHs - that will be more important down the road.

Copeland should be the first choice at 1B - even after one game, his hands and feel for the position seem better to me.

Not efficient... didn't make it out of the 5th.
You don't need to strike everyone out.
Should be a starter with the realistic expectation of 12-15 outs and take him out.

Teams that see him the second time around have him figured out.

A couple of years ago it would have been a battle to close out the win 6-3.

Didn’t get great early vibes from our Saturday and Sunday starters but hey first series of the season and all you can ask for is to overwhelm them which we clearly did.

Last point it’s so nice to see cuvet get help… we got some nice bats around him and hopefully frees him up more.

Good point. Nice to cruise vs inferior opponents for a change.
