Game 3: Lehigh 2/15/26. 27-3 W (3-0)

Tate will be fine. He threw well for us last year. We desperately need Evans, Roberts, and Menendez back. It is worrisome to have to rely on two guys who haven't thrown in about a year but such is the position we are in. Hopefully a freshman can step up like they have in recent years and throw meaningful innings.

On a separate note, what a showing from the bats to start the year. I'm not sure how you keep Copeland out of the lineup. Alvarez looks like the real deal and Milano showed off some pop running one out of the yard. Even guys like Dubovik and Jeffrey showed some poise and had great at bats with good results. It'll be interesting who stays hot and fights for more ABs as the year progresses.

Can't wait to play another competitive series versus a Patriot League powerhouse next weekend. Should be riveting baseball. Tuesday and Wednesday should be good games

Agree on copeland, but also in just two small scrimmage samples and now two games ive noticed West plays almost lazy like, which leads to routine errors from him. He’s a bat, but if copeland is a equal or better bat, hustles on field more and can give us 2 years at 1st, think theres a argument there.

Wasn’t really up to date on baseball recruiting, so quick question? Alvarez supposed to be the real deal? His approach at the plate was probably the best on the team all weekend
Yes, I've been singing his praises since day 1. Gotta look back and find some posts, but I've loved his approach --- flat plane and same swing from both sides.

He will be mixing in a lot this year before he takes over next season
