Evans is really good. Another terrific outing.
What’s his current draft projection?Evans is really good. Another terrific outing.
Against a .500 team coming into the seriesOutside a bit of continued defensive sloppiness, that was one of our better performances of the season.
And where’s the evidence for that? Copeland played 1 full game vs. a team with a pulse and has been asked to pinch hitter which skews his stats.West is a “hit for average guy” in a power hitters body. That can get frustrating because he dos lack real pop. Overall he’s a decent hitter who plays a decent first base. Copeland is more talented but leaves ALOT to be desired, especially against any pitcher with a pulse…
Last night I thought the score line was incredibly flattering, and we would have lost that game to virtually any team in the ACC. Tonight we played one of our better games of the season. It doesn’t mean anything is fixed or reflective of our success going forward.Against a .500 team coming into the series
The bullpen didn't allow a run tonight. Might "disaster" be a bit strong? As usual, the bullpen is a disaster.
My family and I have the pleasure of being in Clemson for the next series.I don’t worry about teams like Creighton, FIU, LaFayette, etc; my concern is facing power conference teams. We’re world beaters on bad teams; I need to see us beat good teams moving fwd.
When a bullpen cannot retire the opposing lineup without getting into trouble on an almost daily basis, I would call that a disaster. That 8th inning by Dorn was buns, and the 7th was also an adventure. We’re fortunate that Creighton sucks. Any team with a pulse has destroyed our relief pitchers this season. The bullpen didn't allow a run tonight. Might "disaster" be a bit strong?

I’ve seen Copelands at bats against good pitching and they weren’t good. As far as fielding goes, it’s 1st base. He’s been solid so far. I just don’t seethe need to play Copeland over West right now based off of what I’ve seen. Not arguing, just an opinion…same as youAnd where’s the evidence for that? Copeland played 1 full game vs. a team with a pulse and has been asked to pinch hitter which skews his stats.
And where is this decent fielder nonsense? He's just as much as a liability as Cuvet.
