Hopefully, the latter. Being in charge vs # 2 or # 3 are quite different.

As far as consultants, it happens all the time w major corporate Boards - who cares if we waste the money. Hire a legit search firm and accept their recommendations.

If you can’t take the heat. Don’t get in the kitchen. you said they have 34……. They have 25 that is 3 more than Miami which is 5-10% more in scholarship they can offer. But they have 500k-1 million less in NIL than Miami. Your math isn’t adding up….

You can't turn on the money spigot and fix things in one year. Or with this coach.

And the Top 250 guys who were available didn't take the UM money last year.

When we fix that, we will fix our problems.

If you think someone like LSU is spending less on baseball than Miami, you probably also believe that Miami has a top 5 pitching staff.

Someone like Cuvet isn’t transferring to Missouri. He would go somewhere that spends money to compete for championships. Like, say, LSU.
