I mean he’s technically right, we had the lead in both games of the doubleheader and found ways to lose ourselves the game with some poor choices. That Wake team gave us every chance to win both yesterday, yet we still didn’t convert. But at the end of the day we didn’t get it done and have a long week ahead of us

Probably a broader board discussion.

We know he didn't hire Mario and by all accounts it was Manny or Mario
The more we watch the JD hire play out, it appears to have been Cora or JD
Someone hinted on the basketball board that Lucas was zoned in on early and pushed for by the Mas ...

None of this is evidence of a serious athletic department.

Rad just introduces them and does press conferences, glad handing and cupping the ACC's balls and sends out weekly box scores showing how bad our athletics has become.

Not the commitment to being a Power 2 Athletic Program we were excited about 4 years ago.

It sounds a bit like you are saying that this isn’t Rads fault. My belief is he makes the hires and he is just very bad at his job.

At this point, I’d welcome Dan Enos as manager with D’onofrio as pitching coach. Looking at our arms, it’s bad. Maybe worst pitching staff/bullpen outside of Boston College. I still have slight confidence in the lineup because Ogden/Cuvet/Galvin should be at least decent even though our offense has been Josh Gattis bad.

I don’t know how many series we win this year. Maybe Notre Dame or Boston College but both are away I think and we might have completely quit by then.

Everyone and their mom knew JD was a bad hire. This is next level bad. Gonna be rough seeing Cuvet start for LSU next season while JD is still running us into the ground. Hopefully Rad does the right thing but I don’t trust him to make the right hire anyway. Clemson baseball sure benefitted when he left. Not sure he knows we have a baseball team.

Doubt Cuvet leaves, He is a freebie, meaning we don't give him any scholarship because he dad works at the school. (He 100% free tuition) + he is getting a six figure NIL deal. Would be a shock if he leaves

Maybe he wants to develop and win. LSU pays real money and would likely beat what we have all around.

This, and with everyone being able to give out 34 full scholarships next year, he can get his "free tuition" anywhere.

Rad has always been trash. Look at the results and hires of other programs besides football at Clemson and overall at GT.

Agree. Our best hope is that Echevarria will be far more inolved going forward than the past two Presidents. At least he's run a major private sector business, where results matter.

Agree. The question is really is Joe part of the problem or the solution. He's been around for most of this... but I just don't see how a life long passionate baseball fan can see this play out and not do something about it... or ... how a successful business man can see sports assets and let them flounder...

Maybe he needs to hire a consultant to come in an tell everyone what they should already know, so they don't have to feel guilty firing people themselves...

The SEC has a limit of 25 Scholarships...... do you get anything right? A bit more research and you would of found the answer, or by what you just wrote, you're just talking out of your behind

We are at 21 scholarships. 22 with the help of the Mark Light Shake Scholarship.

Confirmed # so far
Clemson 34
ASU 34
SEC/Texas 25 (Great news for us imo)

Hire a consultant?
Wait until Miami entertains Duke in a few weeks with a 2-10 record in the ACC and 500 people in the stands.
How about the last three weekend series?
Lack of talent. Poor game management. Incompetent in game decisions, one after another.
Get this done sooner than later. The new coach needs to be in place by Memorial Day.
