Game 20 & 21: 3/15/25 Wake Forest 5-4 L & 12-10 L (12-9)

I wish we had an admin and boosters who care about winning more than they do hooking up their friends/family with jobs. I would call this a banana republic, but in a banana republic, there is at least a product worth exploiting.

They all look like mini JD out there pitching sans talent, emulating their corch. Like a bunch of Harris’ from Major League.

I can tell you this…I am in Knoxville for the UT vs UF series and our pitching staff is not even in the same stratosphere as these teams. TN ran out Phillips in game 2 kid was touching 100 mph and was still hitting 96-97 100 pitches in. Shuts out FLA. UF runs out a true frosh King who goes 6 and holds TN to one run. Mid 90’s. That’s after Doyle and Liam Petersen on Friday.

These teams are big and athletic everywhere on the field.

And then next year when we haven’t made a coaching change

At this point, I’d welcome Dan Enos as manager with D’onofrio as pitching coach. Looking at our arms, it’s bad. Maybe worst pitching staff/bullpen outside of Boston College. I still have slight confidence in the lineup because Ogden/Cuvet/Galvin should be at least decent even though our offense has been Josh Gattis bad.

I don’t know how many series we win this year. Maybe Notre Dame or Boston College but both are away I think and we might have completely quit by then.

Everyone and their mom knew JD was a bad hire. This is next level bad. Gonna be rough seeing Cuvet start for LSU next season while JD is still running us into the ground. Hopefully Rad does the right thing but I don’t trust him to make the right hire anyway. Clemson baseball sure benefitted when he left. Not sure he knows we have a baseball team.

I’m hurt dawg.

And after the UNC series even worse.
I was reminded last night that the season is still nine more weeks.
Rad should be scouting the assistant coaches for both Florida and Tennessee. I've stated before that we need someone to start on Memorial Day.

Our pitching, other than closer, has been subpar for years. That’s why promoting the guy who’s been the pitching coach that whole time is beyond baffling.
