What pitching? Isn’t that jds specialty? There isn’t much talent on the pitching staff.

it’s goes without saying but I am very concerned about JD and his staff’s ability to pick the right pitchers for starters. I can’t remember if it was last year or two years ago this same thing happened where he put someone in the Friday and/or Saturday role and they were beyond awful and it made you wonder what he was looking at all practice.

I’m happy the bats are hot to begin the year. I feel like we usually start cold at the plate (as most teams do). Hopefully that continues.

No other top teams had consistent issues finding high school guys and developing them. Only guys we find throw 85-88 mph. Jd cannot recruit high school pitchers.

Imo you may be in panic mode here. I think this was a circumstance. Everyone now knows Evans was going to be out for a little. Collera was the best option outside of him. No need to panic. I think Collera is extremely talented and will get going.

Which pitchers have you seen in two games that have an elite fastball? My issue is Jd was a pitching coach forever and our pitching was usually average to below average under him. Pitching and defense win championships, this team has below average pitching and the defense, we don’t know quite yet.Could you tell me what your issue is?
