I think this was a perfect opportunity to allow that. He didnt have an inning that was extremely taxing.

His energy level and the stuff he had in the 9th showed that he wasn't dragging to the finish line. It was a healthy complete game

These days it goes to the higher remaining seed unless they can’t host for some reason.

I think we would go to L’ville because Vandy is a higher seed than southern miss so the winner of that regional gets home field for the supers

Really hope Peralta and Torres take the next step at the plate next year.

I see Torres remaining as a starter with his great defense and improving his bat.

We need at least 2 more big bats in the lineup. RF and 1B needs to be positions of double digit HR hitters. So, I don't see Peralta as a starter. Not if I'm the HC.

His quick and easy 8th made it possible. If he had struggled at all in the 8th, that would have been the end of his night.

Yeah he was throwing a ton of off speed pitches and looked like he was just Cadillacing… as others have said if was a very low stress night
