Game 16: Boston College 3/8/26

Well Boston college was supposed to be the worst team in the acc, they look night and day better than us. So I guess that makes us the worst team in the acc. Welcome to a new Miami baseball low under jd arteaga! This guy couldn’t coach a little league team and they gave him the head job at Miami after he was a terrible pitching coach. Whoever gave him the job and it wasn’t the ad, should be removed from the program.

What do you expect? These kids are taught zero approach. A decent coach here and we’d be an Omaha team every couple years. Instead JDs drinking buddies hired him to kill the program
My only hope when the hire was announced was his drinking buddies would buy him a team that would drag his *** to at least the supers

Instead it’s the same budget and assuming he could become an elite pitching coaching when I think the game passed him by a decade or two ago

If you erase the horror show the first BC reliever had today (3 runs in .1 inning), Boston College has gotten 18 innings out of their pen with only 2 runs allowed

By comparison Miami has given up 9 in 11 innings of relief work this weekend . . .
And what, 9 or 10 BB/HBP on the day to a light hitting team?

I thought there was optimism this team would be decent? I guess it is early season still.
It is early in the season, but I’ve seen nothing that tells me this team is going to get better. Still have no bullpen or Sunday starter. This lineup disappears against fastballs over 90 mph. So we might get to 28-30 wins, we can’t even beat bc. Everyone else in the acc is better than them. I don’t even think they will win another acc series. When it comes down to making regionals or not, this series will be pointed to as to why we should not. Fire JD!

Who can we move to two whole, Williams? Dubovick?
Not sure how this turned in to who should be batting 2nd the line up? Other than poor reading comprehension This was about Cuvet's base running and it's a good thing because he doesn't get on. Which I replied he was 5-11 at the time.

1. Ogden
2. Williams
3. Cuvet
4. Sosa
5. Alvarez
6. Dubovick
7. Sheahan
8. West
9. Torres
