Game 16: Boston College 3/8/26

I knew the teams pitching wasnt gonna be good this year. But honestly, the offense has been very underwhelming if you remove the Lehigh ans other scrub series.
I'm not a fan of the all-or-nothing style unless you recruit to it. They recruit a lot of grinder types, good gloves, fast types and then play a slug style.

I bring up Missouri State a lot because I follow them as well and they play a slug style, but they recruit to it. Every hitter they recruit is huge and swings with intent. I don't love it all the time there either, but at least it's engrained all the way through.

Miami should be a team that runs, bunts more, plays to get games in the grind style that a lot of the hitters are. We chase so many pitches trying to slug, when that should be reserved for only a few of their hitters to my eyes.

And the pitching usage is just not a pattern that always makes sense to me.

And the Book and most any baseball analysis will tell you your best hitter should hit second and we have arguably our worst. He should hit 9th, be a second leadoff type after the first time through, work walks, try and run bases etc.

Certainly not the two hole.
If we as fans can see that, why can't our HC?

Boston College bullpen is kind of dirty. I wouldn't have expected that from a team that lost series to Northwestern and Florida Gulf Coast.
