Any updates on if we'll get the game in? Does Florida have a curfew?

Overall weekend assessment. We are better than what the score shows. But both programs when it comes to bullpen arms and high-level stuff. We are behind Florida. When it comes to starters, we aren't very far off or the same. It's the high-level bullpen arms that are the difference.

We will have a good bullpen by the end of the year, regardless of what Robert or Melendez does. We have the guys with potential and stuff to work for 1-2 innings, similar to last season, but better. I think JD also costed us with his bullpen decision this weekend, a learning moment for JD, but it's not the time to have learning moments, leaving Rob and Bilka in too long yesterday after they were great.

When it comes to how do we get these arms. I think the most likely way to get them is by overpaying. Why do I say overpay? We do not have the proof of concept like our rivals or some of these national brands at the moment, but that does not mean it cannot change. (Similar to Miami football) We need to overpay as football did early on in the Mario era to land these elite building block guys to help you. Once you develop them and turn them into 1st rounders, that's when you have a proof of concept.

A learning moment for JD? He’s been the pitching coach for 25 years.

Unless you’re saying that cooney wont be getting any more innings on weekends and that was JD’s learning moment.

JD is atrocious in all aspects as a pitching coach. But the worst of all is his bullpen management. Horrific

Ciscar and Evans had nice outings this weekend, but do you actually believe this? You wouldn’t trade Peterson and king for them? Not to mention we don’t even know who are Sunday guy is

It's often said that pitching is 90% of baseball. Maybe we need to spend 90% of our NIL on pitchers. Hitting-wise we do not appear inferior to the gators. Pitching, especially the bullpen, is where we are behind.

Look at this past seasons transfer portal haul. Not one top of the line starter or reliever was brought in.
This situation was not exposed this weekend. It was identified in June and July.No front line guys were added and you see what happened this past week. That is squarely on JD and Laz.
Ciscar and Evans look serviceable for Friday and Saturday....we need to get the Freshmen ready to contribute more out of the bullpen.
These games can't look like open tryouts when we get into trouble.
This is a big week! No less than 4-0 will be accepted. BC is one of the worst ACC teams that we will play.
