Shouldn’t be anything different, but I’ve always found the ESPN app to be on the glitchy/annoying side.
i agree with scane it can be glitchy or weird. i have directv medium tier 8 years (North Florida). i had an espn subscription but recently directv sent out a promo sort of marketing saying directv now gives you espn. (so) i cancelled the premium/paid espn sub and activated this item sort of. its been mostly ok. sometimes ill get an error of sorts (not in your package or we cannot show this) on my phone but not my pc, or vice versa (logging in via provider directv ofc.) once was so annoying i called for help and they sort of reset me. and fixed it. at times (more so in the past) stuff on accnx did not show EASILY...i might have to try try or also browse via sports choose baseball then get it to work, pr go to networks navigate to accnx then browse. once or twice in middle of broadcast it ends and says we cannot show this or such. but comes back with retry. i also seem to get free mlb sometimes. 2 years ago it was a directv promo. last year it quit working i called they did some sort of set and i had it all year but at times glitchy similar to accnx. not sure whats up this year with mlb..they sent me a promo to subscribe but when i tried last years settings i got a NOT free exhibition game for my team the yankees. not free-game-of-day. good luck its weird welcome to it lol.
This - ESPN app is **** and always has been. On my Fire TV, I go to Manage Applications/Force Stop/Clear Cache and Launch Application. If that doesn't do it, I have to reboot the firestick and re-sign in w my provider's log-in user and password.
