Game 12: Florida 2/28/26

His management is abominable. He went to Blika too late and over extended him. He over extended AJ last night then somehow thought ***** Bradley Cooney, who couldn’t even give a decent outing vs. FAU, was going to getbyou out of it. Trash can level stuff. At least we’re dumping money into the program and it’s leading to a ton of recruiting success but it’s not going to last if this is his idea of managing.

Any way we can borrow Clayton McCollugh from the Marlins til April??

Sadly, I'm not even all that bothered by the in-game stuff. It's the entire lazy management of the program that makes us a #2/3 seed before the season even starts.

Recruit better players and raise money to pay for better players

This status quo not cutting it

I knew last summer we didn’t have enough top end talent to compete, didn’t recruit enough arms

This Florida team doesn’t even seem all that great. Sure they’ve got really good arms. But they could trot out a little league team and we would still lose the series. Pitiful

Until Miami starts paying pitchers like the SEC, we won’t be back. That’s why they have won 8 natty’s in a row. Baseball is all about pitching. Very frustrating we continue to be *** in that department.
It’s like the difference between having a legit QB and whatever we had for 20+ years.

Im guessing they lost again tonight?
In typical " we have no bullpen fashion"
They’ll struggle in Sec imo. This isn’t the normal Florida team. They’re more like last years team than previous years.
That Friday night starter will be a big plus for them and their relief guys are very good. Pitching alone will make them tough to beat in a weekend series.
I'm guessing top third in the SEC which is pretty **** good.
Keep us out of their Regional.

They had the same pitching last year , maybe better. The big difference in the Sec there’s teams as good or better with starters and BP. To us the arms are very impressive , week in and week out in the Sec not so much. Nice staff but not what some of yall think.

As I said on Friday night. They have had a slow but steady decline over last 5 or so years. Arms remain great. But defense and bats have declined steadily.

Arms will keep them in games: defense and bats will lose them the games

One of my kids asked last night. How come all our 97+mph recruits go pro and the UF’s of the world get them to campus? Cant be only nil cuz they arent giving $3mil baseball nil deals.

They normally play great D with good pitching and mashers all over the lineup . Things have been definitely trending the wrong way for them . But they have enough to remain our daddy
