Like I mentioned earlier. The positive is that JD has flipped our recruiting success but we’re not that much better than last year. I think we’re a year away from being a legit title contending team. We shouldn’t need much hitting and we can spend on pitching.

I hear you. I’m well aware of that one too. I’m not sure which is more embarrassing but at least we did some work Tuesday and our basketball program isn’t arguably the most prestigious in America like the baseball program.

Shouldn’t need much hitting? There’s a possibility that we could lose 7 starters. It’s gonna be at least 5.

Next March they’ll be talking about how 2027 is a “rebuilding year”

This team will beat up on the bottom tier teams but it will be hard to score 10 runs a game in the regionals against plus pitching which can shut a lineup like this down.

I’m not sure who the guys in the bullpen are that we are waiting on but I hope they are in the Mariano Type mode…lol

They weren’t tight, just out talented like every year against these guys. Their top hitters are both better than Cuvet. There isn’t a pitcher in our roster that could pitch for them
