Game 10: @ FAU 2/25/26

If Miamis used their best relievers in this game than it’s going to be lonnnng season.

Been his specialty for 20 years now and our arms have sucked for 20 years besides Covid year and consistent ace as closer. Starting pitching and our bullpen has been so so at best. The bullpen being putrid

The pitching staff carried us for a lot of years in the back half of Morris’ tenure, but JD never adapted to guys who pitched like him no longer being able to cut it at this level.
 
Ever since I started trying to follow the baseball team, we’ve always sucked in these mid-week games. Why is it always a struggle? I’m genuinely asking since I don’t know enough about the sport. I see FAU is 3-4. Shouldn’t we be dominating this team?

Our midweek play really wasn’t that bad under Gino. Losing one or two midweek games is pretty normal. It’s baseball.

The problem in the late Morris years and again JD’s first two years is that we’ve regularly lost more than one or two, and seemed to come out flat more often than not.
