Feel like its slow start and its 13-10 either way at HT and its a 3-4 point game at the end. Who makes the play to score/stop? Give it 50-50 chance its out way. 27-24 The U.

My only concern is that I hope Golden doesn't decide to take his foot off the pedal cause it's going to get ugly for UL early.
They won't know what hit them. Golden just needs to keep on pouring it on and on and on..

Having Duke this year makes a big difference as does not having Morris and them not having Teddy B.

UM-35 UL-31.

Chad Thomas get his first of many sacks, D still gives up yards and Heaps Throws 3 TD's and Duke runs for 2.

Miami will win; the losers on this board hoping for a coaching change and rooting for a loss will have to hide their faces.
 
This board, and its predecessors, have been doing the same thing the last ten seasons. This isn't 2002 nor is it 1992.

Do you all enjoy torturing yourself?

Why should we think we are going to come out and be some world beater? There's a reason we are unranked in every poll. We are an average team. We are playing the same team in their house that smoked us just 9 months ago on a neutral field. Use some common sense here.
 
If we start the game by spreading the field and go with a singleback formation, we win. We have the talent, just need a philosophy adjustment as far as how we run the ball! Save the pound game for the 4th quater and situationally....we dont have the OL to mimic Bama.

I think we'll be better against the run. It's our LB's in coverage that im worried about.

We are the more talented team. Our talent is experienced. Duke and the ENTIRE team is healthy. Our secondary is better, our Dline is better. Last year's loss does not guarantee a loss this year. Preseason polls do not determine outcomes.

Miami is a more talented version this year. No one can deny that. Go ******* CANES. I love my team!

Why we'll be closer than last year: Duke Johnson, defense will be fresh (they ran out of steam late in the year due to extreme time of possession issues)
Why we'll still lose: Petrino v Donofrio
 
Well then Mydas77, if our "More talented and more exprienced" team gets Russell Bowled, then it has to be coaching, right?

That was last year. Teddy B and their DE were high draft picks. They were more talented last year.

Even with all the loses UL has due to draft and graduation they are better then every team we beat last year.

Our defese took a major hit with the loss of 3 DTs and 4 LBs.. Now some of those players weren't very good, but they provided adequate depth.

If Heurt, Wyche, Moore, and OP don't ball this season... We are ****ed

If DP gets hurt... We are ****ed

We are essentially fielding the same defensive unit. The backups are very young and inexperienced.

Same coach, same idiotic scheme.

Those are just problems we have on the defensive side of the football.

QB is a major question mark! Our coaching staff new to pic a starter asap so the team can rally.

James Coley is a major question mark.

The only way we have a chance is if we can control the clock with our offense and play perfect special teams. Unfortunately under AG and staff, we have yet to play consistent game in 2 or more phases.

Sorry fellas, but the odds are stacked against us. I don't think we win.
