Gamblers think Miami will pummel LSU

I think our DL will be amped up and will crush them. Jess Simpson seems like a guy that wants his kids running through walls. The guy is intense AF. This will be a huge factor for an early game.

This article is typical garbage from the Miami new times. Here’s a tip, a 3pt spread doesn’t mean anyone is going to pummel anyone. While I like our chances, this headline is trash, just like the Miami new times

If you're a gambler, definitely take the Canes giving up 3. If you like quality reading material, don't read the Miami New Times.

So what would you call the Notre Dame game? A shellacking? A thumping? A beatdown? What is the bar you set for pummel?
Yeah, that comment was dumb. I vividly remember being at another no lube running start against Vatech the week before also.

If we do I'll pummel my trouser trout immediately after the game. And Vegas doesn't even need to set a spread , my hand will be 43 point favorite over my meat bag.
Crib, what kinda RPM you putting on that trout about 9 grand

If Rosier plays poorly - he needs his *** yanked out of the game the moment poor play manifest itself.

If the other QB's aren't ready - DeeJay will get it done.
I agree, when he goes into the "Rosier funk" I would give a young gun a shot, especially with any kind o lead

What’s w the negs?

Why shouldn’t Rosier be pulled if he ***** the bed?

Unbelievably dumb. Richt throughout his career has blown out tons of ranked teams. Over the past four seasons, he has 7 double digit wins over ranked teams. But hurrr durrr he can’t pummel anyone

Bro what are you talking about? Go through his record at Georgia. He blew out teams like South Carolina, Auburn, Clemson, Mizzou, Louisville, etc... There is a lot more parity in college football now. No team consistently blows out every other team, not Bama and not even the 2001 Canes, who struggled against VT and BC. Plus he played in the SEC in their best decade ever.

Mark Richt knows how to win and win consistently. Won't be long before we start bullying teams in the ACC more regularly. The talent Miami attracts plus his coaching is a formula for success.

The knock against Richt in the SEC was that he didn't know how to win championships (i.e., beat Bama). He remains to prove that but so far it's going well.

He did beat a very good LSU for his second SEC title, though.

We saw Malik's floor and ceiling (sometimes in the same series) last year. The ceiling may be the same but the floor has gone up IMO. I expect a very gamey Malik who comes to destroy every team we play. It's his time now.

Score early and it's a wrap.
Ditto. He gets more credit for an inconsistent year than he’s afforded the idea most players improve year to year.

He blew teams out consistently as the OC at FSU. How the **** do you think he got the UGA job?

Who did beat Saban? Meyer was about even when he had Tebow. Other than that Saban’s losses were upsets.

It’s so nice to open the season with a real test. Makes the anticipation all that much higher.

You have to love when losing to the #1 coach in the game is your big knock... Oh wait, 2004 UGA literally blew out a Nick Saban lead LSU Tiger team 45-16! Oh and who was the head coach and OC for the Bulldogs? Nevermind...

Well, there you go. Richt did beat Saban. I forget Saban’s tenure at LSU.

He beat Meyer at UF once, too. Once. Meyer beat him, on often soundly, in their other games.

Richt’s reputation is he often fails in big games.

Maybe he lacks a killer instinct, as cliche as that sounds. I’d love to see him beat a rival to a pulp, for the sake of doing it. Salt in the wounds. Especially against FSU or VT. ****, against Pitt this season, given a chance. Or UNC after the finger pointing with Fedora.

I was at that 2005 Peach Bowl, one of the worst defeats I’ve ever witnessed as a Canes fan for over 40 years.

I hope they kick the **** out of them and don’t let up.

Eh, normally don’t wanna be on the publics side. I think the line is kinda low for #8 vs #24 taking all bias aside.
