We looked more dominant than we have in over 20 years and didn't even cover the opening spread of 43.5, let alone 52+. Gambling can be tough. Making that performance unsatisfying because of a bet would have been brutal. Glad I layed off.

Bethune: 9 drives, nothing longer than 26 yards until the final one of 75.

Miami: 7-9 on 3rd down, 28-34 through the air, and 6.7 yards per rush

Median difference in number of plays is down 5 per game from last year. Running clock is a non factor (so far this year). I mean Miami ran 70ish plays tonight. Last week was mid 50s. Are we to believe the clock was the reason this team scored the same amount of points against a team that’s WAY worse than last week despite running more plays?

Huge spreads are all about what the better teams coach wants to do. Mario is never gonna score 80 like Oregon or OU did a couple weeks ago.
