Mainly speaking on Wiley but ya Hayes too and I was thinking Bobby Washington was highly rated but he was a 3 star. Aguirre was highly rated and he was so mediocre.

I don't think Hayes finished all that highly rated and I forgot about Aguirre. Don't look now, but he leads the ACC in tackles and is probably going to be an All-Conference guy. I know your point is that he was a waste of money here and that is probably true, but I would be thrilled to have him back as the third linebacker. Just form a Voltron of linebackers who cannot cover in space.

They must anticipate some attrition on top of losing your two starters. Need to fill the room through recruiting with a possibility of a top portal LB.

I could see portal next year for the following positions.

QB
OL
LB
DT
DE possibly depending who leaves early
Safety if Poyser leaves early
RB?
 
Has anyone watched AJ Randle recently? I haven’t in probably a month but I was….unimpresssed. Like to the point I was wondering if he’d actually wind up in the class. But it was just a few games, so just curious.

Alot depends on what we lose.

OL (maybe 2)
LB (outside chance of 2)
DT (outside chance of 2)
DE
RB (probably but not definite)

Maybe a WR
Maybe a S
Maybe a TE
Maybe a QB

But again none of us know what's heading out, some positions my be depth, others we will need to go after real quality. But I definitely think DT will be the a top 3 need either way and the clear #1 if Scott leaves… As will a staring OL, I'm just not sure what position yet.

OL, DT, and linebacker will be most critical if we don't chase another QB. Need difference makers at the aforemtioned spots.
