Ga Tech - Thoughts ?

We had some really rough games over the years vs Tech - Any thoughts on the game in 2 weeks?
- As others have said, our DL is the strongest unit but dont see Ga Tech throwing much

Freshmen lb versus triple option scares a little . But I don't think they can stop us
 
Like I said about App St. They may break a few. U can't not be tricked a couple of times. But being in the backfield is the enemy of this attack. U force long yardage and thats basically it for the drive because they cant throw. Same treatment. Especially if we score first.

I honestly think GA tech is light work....I hate to say it...

They gonna get blown out too... its clear I guys are handling the option (granite the caliber of athlete is not great) pretty
well
 
Coach Mark Richt 13-2 vs Tech, think he's got a pretty good feel on how to beat them.

We'll win. Too much speed on defense, plus as long as the OL hold up we'll put some points on the board.
 
They play number 5 Clemson at home on espn at 7:30 pm the week before. They'll be a little beaten up, underwhelmed and on their 5th straight home game. That's never a good thing for a football team. The girlfriend, school and drama starts to drain the football mind. We come in rested and have two weeks to prepare for the triple option. They'll get a few big ones on us, but we'll walk away with the W.

I know richt is an offensive coach but he's had multiple defensive coordinators and he is 13-2 against these scrubs

They were 3-9 last year and we have an offense that can outscore them

GTech will be one of the tougher matchups for our D, if only because that style can exploit an aggressive D. It's probably the only time a "think and read" approach actually works - which is why Dorito did ok against them.

Canes roll. Vandy is really really bad. I don't think they score enough on us to beat us. We'll score at least 30.
 
This game was a good warm up to get the young lbs use to the misdirection when it comes to option offenses. I wouldn't be surprised if our veteran LBs started against GT, that have experience defending the triple option. But regardless I expect us to win by multiple TDs.
 
And don't forget, 2 weeks to prepare. Add Moten and Jenkins back to our DL, Colbert back to the secondary, fresh off a bye week, Owens should be good to go for more snaps.

Probably the best possible scenario leading into this game. Freshman LBs would be concerning if this wasn't off a bye week.

They had 315 yards rushing against us each of the last two years

Dorito didn't do okay, we won last year because gt was a 3-9 team and lost the year before


We got owned by gt physically each year
