Fyckeyes vs Gophers

Yes, so perplexing.

Can’t have an OSU* starter miss time in the big game vs Oregon.
Exactly.

What is frustrating in these situations is the announcers either ignoring what is an obvious situation, or pretending that it’s perhaps a questionable call...when it’s actually an unconscionable, truly corrupt call that gives evidence that playing the game might be pointless.

Hilarious. Did he take Dr Emmett Brown’s DeLorean back to 1985???
Nah, he’s probably a futbol fan who condescends to call “that so called American football”, when he really wants to announce The Beautiful Game.

Textbook targeting. Precisely why the penalty exists. However, no split U on the helmet so it is legal.

Miami will get ejected if the ball carrier knowingly lowers his helmet to the defender in mid air.
Amazing right. They throw the flag on us when the hit is big and then go review it. If I’m not mistaken that’s what the refs are told to do. You throw the flag then go check it.
No one even attempted to throw it. A player doesn’t go unconscious unless you hit the head. It should’ve been an automatic flag. If it wasn’t targeting on the review then pick it up.

Crazy.

What is the deal with Ohio State* and cheating refs?

I’m not sure what targeting is after seeing that hit and subsequent call…

It’s about equity in the NCAA- what rules does Everyone have to play by right now ?? Who cares what the bobble head thinks the rules ‘ should’ be???
And no mention this entire ****** network posts wrong score 41 when 38 for multiple displays and wrong player on score ? What a pile of crap from refs and moron commentators and chit for brain network !

Fleck is a **** good coach
And Michigan should be his next stop. That style they play at Minnesota fits the big 10 school who can’t get to cherry pick level of athleticism and talent OSU does annually. Only question is Jim actually bringing Mich to its peak as a program

Just got back from the game. Gophers kept it close until halfway thru the 3rd. Taint beat us on (5) offensive 80 yard screen passes somehow.

Pretty sure Ibrahim got some B1G honors last year and maybe even the year before. They had a stable of 3 backs that senior year of Winfield Jr. (who was also dynamite). Did a good job of run/pass and getting all 3 carries. I think injuries also played a role. But last year Ibrahim was alone and had like 1200 yards in 7 games or something. He’s got the goods.

Minny being my darling team two years ago makes this hard to watch. Did Tanner Morgan or whatever his name is regress?!? 3 year starter looking worse than 2 years ago
Hurts to lose Rashod Bateman in the 1st round, Tyler Johnson in the 4th or so the prior year and our top dog this year was injured.

If you were to make an instructional video on how to target, that no call would be a perfect teaching tool.

Like another poster said, that was textbook targeting. Met every single condition for targeting as currently defined.
