Future premier runningbacks out of the Fort Myers area

Phillip Buchanon went to Lehigh Sr High. From Ft. Myers and wasn't great at anything but being an athlete until the coaching staff molded him in to a stud.

Devine came out of North Ft Myers HS & was a total piece of ****. Good player but total waste of a human being. We also had Jevon Kearse, Deion Sanders & Andre Bruce come out of NFMHS.

Andre Bruce went to NFM? I think you might be mistaken on him. I think he came and played in Deoin's charity games, but I dont think he went to North.

Lets not forget Jammi German

Nope you're right he played in Alabama. There was another one from the mid 80's and I was thinking it was Bruce but you're right. Jammi played for Ft Myers HS under Siriani. I went to the playoff game where they were knocked out by STA. I think I was in middle school at the time.

I was at that game too. I attended st Thomas at the time. I remember the hype for that game was unreal. Way more hyped than the championship game itself.

My rankings/thoughts just based on the highlights:

1. Felix - Looks like the best athlete and prospect of the bunch. Looks like he could excel at RB, WR, or DB
2. Dorris - Best pure RB of the bunch. Looked to be the full package of inside/outside running, instincts, ability to change direction, speed. Really like him.
3. Curry - Looked like a hammer as an inside runner, but he looked really awkward in the open field. His stride gets long and his shoulders do some weird back and forth thing.
4. White - Looks like a good, but not great athlete. Ball skills looked good and felt Safety would be a better position for him
5. Scott - reminds me of Phillip Dorsett. A burner, but doesn't look fluid or comfortable when changing direction with the ball in his hand. Just a straight line speed guy.

You're thinking of Warren Williams and Richard Fain. Williams went to Miami, then played with Pittsburgh for a few years. Fain went to UF then bounced around the league for a few seasons.

Nice.

Now I hope they pursue Dorris at RB and White as an Athlete in 2017 as well.

And pursue Curry at RB and Scott as an athlete for 2018.

FWIW Felix has Miami as the leader but it's extremely early in the process for 2017.

Felt this deserved a thread on at some point as these 3 kids are just unreal and I'm very positive they will be prospects that are highly recruited in the future.

I present to you, the Lee County trio. Talk about explosiveness, jeez. Enjoy....
