Future of Diaz

As much as I have bashed him, even I would rather wait until after Thursday night to even think about this. Personally, I am hoping to see massive improvement so we don't have to talk about it for at least a week.
Ha, me too. Truth is tho, hard not to think these COVID circumstances might have bought him another year almost regardless of how we do. We simply don’t play teams like FIU and La. Tech this year

You losers were talking all this **** all off-season and now 8 wins is good enough.

Nope 9 is the floor. UNC and Clemson only 2 good teams we face

55-13 on Thursday night.
9-2 overall. Not including bowl game.
That’s doable if and only if the defense shows up to play UM defense. With an effective offensive game plan, the defense won’t need to be on the field as much and just looking at the scoreboard should be motivation.

Another bad season and he’s gone. Simple as that

No, it's nowhere near remotely as simple as that.

But go ahead and keep on talking like you have a clue.

It's almost impressive how you people want to take millions of dollars and CONTRACTS at a private school and just act like we can **** money away.

If our offense is hitting on all cylinders but Manny is the reason we stink up the joint than I hope Lashlee becomes our HC.

The trash who flew the banners against Butch are still among us.
Banner was a Joke..."Thank's Butch" from NCs too National Chumps??...Since when were we NCs in 93 or 94??....Banner should have realistically said...."Thanks Dennis" ...for Garbage recruiting and Lack of Control"....Lol...Dumbazz fans blaming Butch for being the recipient of a Complete Quagmire...Little did those Azzholes know, that in 2 1/2 yrs we'd be ruling CFB again...with the Greatest Collection of Talent (not just at UM) but in the entire History of CFB....F the Butch Haters...He left UM a whole lot F-ing better than what he was given...Not only should UM have kissed his ***...but the NFL and Canton as well...

Diaz has seemed to do everything right so far. Except win. Which is most important.
He isn’t sitting on his *** and not trying. If we suck again, how long does he get?

im ok with at least another year.
Believe he gets a pass on this year regardless, but I also see us looking a lot better this season and heading in the right direction.

Agree 100%

It's ok to get prepared for whatever decision you prefer....BUT for Chrissake at least Let's wait until after Thursday night's game.

Always hoping for an excellent season EVERY YEAR

BUT I seriously doubt he'll get another pass if he has a losing season this year Covid or not

This place is such a downer. You must be awful to be around in real life. Energy sucking vampires. I don't pay any attention to other teams' fan sites, but do they start seasons with so much misery and negativity? Can't you let it go at least until the first offensive play isn't a 99 yard TD or the other team gets a 1st down?

The coaching market will be in the ******* for years to come. The damage has been done to the majority of D1 budgets. Only the completely inept will be fired this year.

That's an interesting take, and you may well be correct.

Buyouts ain't cheap, particularly in the Covid era.

I see what you did there Hurracanes; you're coming from a Hermann Melville perspective, and how the Omnipotent White Whale "He Heeps me!" represents manifestation of last season's problems and ultimatley, "Him Mr Starbuck, Him" - Manny. I caught it my Cane brother. Aye, I caught it.

Well actually whoever at UM negotiated Golden's contract and extension actually did a **** of a job, the buyout was only 1 year's salary (or $2M total so maybe it was just remaining salary for that year...). So who knows. Maybe Blake was smart and negotiated same deal with Manny. No way Manny was saying no to any half decent UM offer after going to Temple....

That said, just win baby!
